The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abbekås BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Fredriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mattias Molin charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Molin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Mattias Molin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marc Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Thomas Björkqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Brantevik FF booed when Abbekås BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Qvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Olof Qvarnström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Björling having to interfere. Edvard Björling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Wahlnäs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvard Björling was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valentin Wahlnäs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. In the 68th minute Thomas Björkqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Björling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Wahlnäs struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Edvard Björling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abbekås BK. Sivert Aspengren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvard Björling having to make a save. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Thomas Björkqvist advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-1 in the 76th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Valentin Wahlnäs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbekås BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Wahlnäs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Valentin Wahlnäs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Olof Qvarnström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Edvard Björling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Björkqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Erik Vallmark kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 97thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Abbekås BK's keeper Greger Snäll was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Abbekås BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
