Yoda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilhelm Berglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Viggo Ljungberg made a precise shot to the right of Osvald Wallin. Åsensbruk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The coaching staff of Yoda FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karl-Axel Björck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Åsensbruk booed when Yoda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yoda FC's zone, Edwin Björkdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Lindström came out of the goal and Edwin Björkdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Sven-Edvin Ahlroht left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åsensbruk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Edwin Björkdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilhelm Berglund was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sten Nyman fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yoda FC's protests and gave Sten Nyman a yellow card for diving instead.
