Eliézer Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Klas McNamara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Åsensbruk's Osvald Wallin. Osvald Wallin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19thth minute of the game Klas McNamara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsensbruk's Osvald Wallin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was a well-played corner which Jerry Olofsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Klas McNamara's late challenge caught a Åsensbruk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klas McNamara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute Jerry Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Klas McNamara put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Osvald Wallin. Sven-Erik Bruhn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Osvald Wallin made a huge save. In the 36thth minute of the game Adrian Arvidsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but R9Forwards's Eliézer Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvald Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Nyström in the 38th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Åsensbruk's goalkeeper Osvald Wallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Erik Bruhn.

R9Forwards's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
