The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Klas McNamara made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Jönsson. Neith's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sven-Erik Bruhn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Tommy Jönsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sven-Erik Bruhn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Tommy Jönsson made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Sven-Erik Bruhn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Jönsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, R9Forwards's Klas McNamara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After 23 minutes of play, R9Forwards's Eric Nyström made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Jönsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, R9Forwards's Sven-Erik Bruhn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Jönsson. Tommy Jönsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Otto Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Tommy Jönsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Erik Bruhn went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Jerry Olofsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Jönsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Erik Bruhn in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, R9Forwards's Klas McNamara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 8-0. 41 minutes into the match, Neith's goal looked a bit too open when Klas McNamara came free, but Tommy Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Jönsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Erik Bruhn went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klas McNamara to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Neith's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Bruhn came free, but Tommy Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Neith got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Forss. A collision led to R9Forwards getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sven-Erik Bruhn hit a great ball. After 59 minutes of play, R9Forwards's Jerry Olofsson made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Jönsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 played minutes R9Forwards got a freekick which was hit by Otto Sandberg. Peter Brun hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klas McNamara in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Jönsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helge Nordkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience cheered when Otto Sandberg's long shot passed Tommy Jönsson's right side. It was 12-0, 75 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute R9Forwards were awarded a corner. Otto Sandberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Tommy Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Tommy Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Olofsson in the 83rd minute of play. Leif Kvist hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match Otto Sandberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Jönsson skillfully saved the ball. After 86 minutes of play, R9Forwards's Jerry Olofsson made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Jönsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, Klas McNamara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Tommy Jönsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute Sven-Erik Bruhn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. R9Forwards walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
