Bruket BK's Niklas Törnkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torsten Holmgren was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Niklas Törnkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niklas Törnkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of Bruket BK booed when Rönnäng BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Ånger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Joakim Rudkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes of play, Bruket BK's Niklas Törnkvist made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Holmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Rönnäng BK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Lindell came free, but Torsten Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Ljungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bruket BK's Herman Boström got a free kick in the 41st minute. Joakim Rudkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Ivarsson having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joakim Rudkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Joakim Rudkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ragnar Ivarsson. Joakim Rudkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After some careless play in the Rönnäng BK defense, Niklas Törnkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Holmgren. The Rönnäng BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Holmgren should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Rönnäng BK's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Ljungberg came free, but Torsten Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Rönnäng BK got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Alebäck. Ragnar Ivarsson made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Per-Olof Spetz sent off a good shot on target. When Rune Enegren came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rönnäng BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Enegren couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Rönnäng BK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rudolf Ånger hit a great ball. Bruket BK's Niklas Törnkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niklas Törnkvist scored 6-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Holmgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Dick Ljungberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruket BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dick Ljungberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Käller in the 81st minute of play forced Rönnäng BK's goalkeeper Torsten Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Bruket BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Fristedt to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes, Niklas Törnkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruket BK and the Rönnäng BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niklas Törnkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Rönnäng BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
