Birger Hjelm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birger Hjelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Påk having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joakim Rudkvist made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Birger Hjelm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rönnäng BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Hjelm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Påk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the game, Birger Hjelm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Torsten Påk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Mathias Samuelsson came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Nösund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. Torsten Påk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Rudkvist in the 68th minute of the match.
