But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Wallman couldn't finish the play. Fredrik Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Tönnberg having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Åkersberga BF's Fredrik Dahlqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bo-Erik Tönnberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Fredrik Dahlqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bo-Erik Tönnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rutger Söderqwist charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rutger Söderqwist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Rutger Söderqwist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Söderqwist in the 22nd minute of play forced Jonaz Boyz FC's goalkeeper Bo-Erik Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Åkersberga BF booed when Jonaz Boyz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Wallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olof Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Åkersberga BF's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Uggstedt came free, but Kjell Stenström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Jonaz Boyz FC defense, Rutger Söderqwist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bo-Erik Tönnberg. The Jonaz Boyz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo-Erik Tönnberg should have stopped the shot. Bo-Erik Tönnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Jonaz Boyz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Dahlqvist came free, but Bo-Erik Tönnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo-Erik Tönnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Dahlqvist in the 44th minute of play. Bo-Erik Tönnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Jonaz Boyz FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Åkersberga BF were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddie Uggstedt made a kick off. A wasted opportunity for Åkersberga BF. 67 minutes into the match, Fredrik Dahlqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bo-Erik Tönnberg. Jonaz Boyz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Dahlqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 70th minute Rutger Söderqwist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo-Erik Tönnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Åkersberga BF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Joakim Bergström hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match, Fredrik Dahlqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bo-Erik Tönnberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Söderqwist in the 76th minute of play forced Jonaz Boyz FC's goalkeeper Bo-Erik Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonaz Boyz FC's Bo-Erik Tönnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Jonaz Boyz FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olof Bengtsson got free with Bo-Erik Tönnberg in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bo-Erik Tönnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Dahlqvist in the 80th minute. Rune Wallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kjell Stenström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddie Uggstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Jonaz Boyz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rutger Söderqwist came free, but Bo-Erik Tönnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredrik Dahlqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Bo-Erik Tönnberg made a huge save. When the match was over Åkersberga BF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jonaz Boyz FC throughout the match.
