Torsten Påk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th match minute, Nösund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Torbjörn Sjöström's late challenge caught a Ljungby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Sjöström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Nösund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Sjöström to maneuver through the defense. Thor Vacker struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Torsten Påk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungby. In the 19th minute, Thor Vacker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torsten Påk made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Frans Holmberg sent off a good shot on target. If Frans Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elof Wall hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Vacker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Sjöström in the 52nd minute of play forced Ljungby's goalkeeper Jakob Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Holmberg in the 60th minute of play forced Nösund's goalkeeper Torsten Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nösund's Torsten Påk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Vacker in the 65th minute of play. Elof Wall kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Holmberg in the 67th minute of play forced Nösund's goalkeeper Torsten Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thor Vacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Torsten Påk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Torbjörn Sjöström came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Nösund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Sjöström couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Thor Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungby's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Vacker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Påk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torsten Påk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Holmberg in the 84th minute of the match. Jakob Eckegren made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Torbjörn Sjöström sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ljungby getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ragnar Gregersson hit a great ball.
