After a rather tough play, Bruket BK's Dick Ljungberg got a free kick in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Bruket BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sakarias Samuelsson came free, but Ragnar Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ragnar Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Persson in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bruket BK's zone, Rudolf Haraldsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ragnar Ivarsson came out of the goal and Rudolf Haraldsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Bruket BK got a freekick which was hit by Folke Käller. In the 24th minute Oscar Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Ivarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Kilberg in the 29th minute of play forced Bruket BK's goalkeeper Ragnar Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ragnar Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Haraldsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bengt-Åke Kilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gullholmen getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sakarias Samuelsson hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Persson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gullholmen's Bengt-Åke Kilberg got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rudolf Haraldsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gullholmen's Oscar Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Dick Ljungberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bruket BK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Folke Käller hit a great ball. The supporters of Bruket BK booed when Gullholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Kilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sakarias Samuelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ragnar Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gullholmen's Rudolf Haraldsson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torbjörn Lindell scored 1-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joacim Hydén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Haraldsson in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ragnar Ivarsson saved Bruket BK from getting behind. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bruket BK were victorious despite being under pressure from Gullholmen for much of the match.
