Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Åkersberga BF's Rutger Söderqwist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fredrik Dahlqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jakob Eckegren made a huge save. If Rutger Söderqwist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute of the match, Joakim Bergström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jakob Eckegren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Bergström in the 34th minute of play forced Ljungby's goalkeeper Jakob Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jim Ahlström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Ahlström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Stenström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Jakob Eckegren was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Fredrik Dahlqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fredrik Dahlqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 48 played minutes Åkersberga BF got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Söderqwist. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Thor Vacker made the kick off in the second half. Rutger Söderqwist succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Jakob Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Dahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Rutger Söderqwist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesper Bryngelsson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jakob Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Åkersberga BF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
