Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tor Beckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Dahlqvist in the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Rutger Söderqwist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tor Beckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Fredrik Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Samuelsson's late challenge caught a Åkersberga BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Samuelsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bredaryd IFK's Kent Samuelsson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Patric Torsberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bredaryd IFK's Tor Beckström didn't even have to move. In the 25th minute Rutger Söderqwist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Beckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alvin Vester came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Bredaryd IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Vester couldn't finish the play. Tor Beckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Dahlqvist's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Rutger Söderqwist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åkersberga BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rutger Söderqwist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tor Beckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joakim Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Åkersberga BF's Jens-Ola Martinsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Bredaryd IFK were awarded a corner. Knut Lindgren went to the cornerflag to take it. Kjell Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Rutger Söderqwist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tor Beckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rutger Söderqwist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tor Beckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Åkersberga BF's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Elg came free, but Kjell Stenström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Åkersberga BF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jarl Sjö hit a great ball. Kjell Stenström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Elg in the 64th minute of play. Stefan Elg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Botvidsson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Alvin Vester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Stefan Elg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åkersberga BF's Kjell Stenström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fredrik Dahlqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Tor Beckström made a huge save. In the 78th minute of the match Pelle Wennerqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjell Stenström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pelle Wennerqvist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, one of Bredaryd IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Patric Torsberg placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Kjell Stenström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Samuelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
