The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Birger Hjelm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rönnäng BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Hjelm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Uggstedt in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsten Holmgren saved Rönnäng BK from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Sven-Olof Bryngelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rune Enegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Uggstedt struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Torsten Holmgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonaz Boyz FC. If Birger Hjelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jonaz Boyz FC's Jarl Wallin got a free kick in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rune Enegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rönnäng BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Enegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo-Erik Tönnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birger Hjelm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bo-Erik Tönnberg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Hjelm in the 38th minute of play forced Jonaz Boyz FC's goalkeeper Bo-Erik Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Wallman during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Jonaz Boyz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Wallman to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Jonaz Boyz FC's goalkeeper Bo-Erik Tönnberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Örjan Bäck. After a defensive mix-up in Rönnäng BK's zone, Jonathan Alstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Holmgren came out of the goal and Jonathan Alstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bo-Erik Tönnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Hjelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Jonaz Boyz FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rune Wallman hit a great ball. Torsten Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Berggren, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Eddie Uggstedt scored 2-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Holmgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rönnäng BK's goalkeeper Torsten Holmgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonaz Boyz FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rönnäng BK for a fine match.
