Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stefan Elg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Kent Samuelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ragnar Ivarsson was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 4 minutes into the match, Bruket BK's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Elg came free, but Ragnar Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Lindell in the 8th minute of play forced Bredaryd IFK's goalkeeper Tor Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ragnar Ivarsson came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Bredaryd IFK's Alvin Vester. But to his dismay, Alvin Vester quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joakim Bäckman in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ragnar Ivarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Stefan Elg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bruket BK's Ragnar Ivarsson. Ragnar Ivarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Bredaryd IFK's Alvin Vester sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ragnar Ivarsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Elg in the 30th minute of play forced Bruket BK's goalkeeper Ragnar Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Niklas Törnkvist sped through Bredaryd IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tor Beckström. In the 34th match minute, Bredaryd IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Arne Vestlund to maneuver through the defense. Torbjörn Lindell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Lindell to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bredaryd IFK's Stefan Elg got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ragnar Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Elg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Elg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bruket BK's zone, Stefan Elg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ragnar Ivarsson came out of the goal and Stefan Elg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvin Vester succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Niklas Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Fransson's late challenge caught a Bruket BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Fransson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Sven Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alvin Vester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dick Ljungberg fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruket BK's protests and gave Dick Ljungberg a yellow card for diving instead. Ragnar Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Elg in the 79th minute of the match. If Stefan Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Bäckman might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ragnar Ivarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joakim Bäckman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ragnar Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Bäckman in the 97th minute of play forced Bruket BK's goalkeeper Ragnar Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bruket BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bredaryd IFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Bredaryd IFK.
