The Tived fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Tived's Börje Bagge looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Per-Erik Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Linberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Ramvik IF's Melker Täman got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Tived's Per-Erik Wahlnäs got control of the ball when Stig Arvidsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Ramvik IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tived:s goal. Carl Koch hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Carl Öfverman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sören Björk during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
