Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Eddie Ahlrot started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jaime Cordarell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Ahlrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Carlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Jerry Pihlwall came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Segmon IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Pihlwall couldn't finish the play. Segmon IF's Jaime Cordarell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Segmon IF from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes Enskededalen got a freekick which was hit by Evert Carlberg. In the 35th match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olle Lustig to maneuver through the defense. If Eddie Ahlrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Pihlwall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulrik Salkvist having to make a save. Jerry Pihlwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ulrik Salkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Bröms during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Segmon IF booed when Enskededalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Bröms didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Ahlrot in the 66th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Jaime Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Olle Lustig. When Eddie Ahlrot fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enskededalen's protests and gave Eddie Ahlrot a yellow card for diving instead. Eddie Ahlrot hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jerry Pihlwall took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulrik Salkvist. Ulrik Salkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Pihlwall got free with Ulrik Salkvist in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Eddie Ahlrot in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
