AC Jeriko's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nicklas Persson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Petersson's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Holger Salqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Lindström's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. AC Jeriko's Nicklas Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Petersson in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lomma's zone, Mark Lindström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Salqvist came out of the goal and Mark Lindström tried to chip the ball over his head. Nicklas Persson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, Lomma's Holger Salqvist got control of the ball when Bengt-Rune Felin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ture Nordal charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ture Nordal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ture Nordal hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lomma getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Johannes Petersson hit a great ball. Nicklas Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Larsfält in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esbjörn Larsfält to make the kick off. Nicklas Persson had great luck who in the 52ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Esbjörn Larsfält from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 55 minutes of play, AC Jeriko's Mark Lindström made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Holger Salqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mark Lindström, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Holger Salqvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lomma's goalkeeper Holger Salqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mark Lindström came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the AC Jeriko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Lindström couldn't finish the play. After 65 played minutes AC Jeriko got a freekick which was hit by Dag Vassenius. Mark Lindström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Holger Salqvist having to make a save. If Mark Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes of play, AC Jeriko's Mark Lindström made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Holger Salqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! AC Jeriko's Tage Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holger Salqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Jeriko's Nicklas Persson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save AC Jeriko from getting a goal against them. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
