Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Skurup's Sven Ekeberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Glanshammar's Måns Holmgren got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Eric Bergqvist came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Skurup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Bergqvist couldn't finish the play. Jonas Falkrantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Åke Ahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Skurup's Eric Bergqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerry Täman. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 17th minute, Tony Stigsson made a precise shot to the right of Jerry Täman. Glanshammar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jerry Täman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Rasmus Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jonas Falkrantz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Glanshammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Falkrantz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Glanshammar booed when Skurup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Glanshammar's Jonas Falkrantz tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Glanshammar's Elias Lund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Apelqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Sebastian Apelqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Ahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Jonas Ahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Glanshammar's Jonas Falkrantz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stellan Lindell kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Sixten Ahlbom hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Skurup's zone, Jonas Falkrantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Apelqvist came out of the goal and Jonas Falkrantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Skurup's Eric Bergqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerry Täman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Ekeberg in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerry Täman saved Glanshammar from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Falkrantz to strike the kick off in the second half. Jerry Täman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Glanshammar's Åke Ahlberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The Skurup fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Skurup's Eric Bergqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Stigsson in the 68th minute of play forced Glanshammar's goalkeeper Jerry Täman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Tony Stigsson made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Glanshammar's Jerry Täman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th match minute, Glanshammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Åke Albäck to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Glanshammar's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Ekeberg came free, but Jerry Täman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sören Melberg during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Sören Melberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerry Täman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Stigsson in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Glanshammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Melberg to maneuver through the defense. Eric Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jerry Täman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skurup. Jerry Täman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Stigsson in the 86th minute of play. Jerry Täman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Elias Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glanshammar's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Lund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Apelqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Skurup fully deserved thier win.
