The tension between the Kristianstad DFF and the Lomma players grew even worse after the yellow card. 3 minutes into the game, one of Kristianstad DFF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Lomma a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Krister Bröms, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kristianstad DFF's Jan-Åke Hedström. 0-1. Lomma's Holger Salqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Lomma from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Lomma getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jesper Sjödin hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Kåre Josefsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Holger Salqvist. Kåre Josefsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Kåre Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes Kristianstad DFF got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Stenkvist. Johannes Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holger Salqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Josefsson in the 22nd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kåre Josefsson to make the kick off. When Emanuel Benet fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lomma's protests and gave Emanuel Benet a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lomma's Emanuel Benet got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd minute of the match Olov Malm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Holger Salqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Esbjörn Larsfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Johannes Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lomma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Lomma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Benet to maneuver through the defense. Holger Salqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Josefsson in the 59th minute of play. Kåre Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Holger Salqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kristianstad DFF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sixten Gustavsson hit a great ball. Jan-Åke Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Larsfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Esbjörn Larsfält got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Mellin during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 74 minutes into the match, Kristianstad DFF's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Hedström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Petersson. 75 minutes into the game, Sixten Gustavsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kristianstad DFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lomma the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Lomma's zone, Kåre Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Salqvist came out of the goal and Kåre Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Nils Åhman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Salqvist was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. A collision led to Lomma getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bo Mellin hit a great ball. Anthon Stenkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Lomma's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Åhman came free, but Holger Salqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
