Jerry Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Sântimbrean having to interfere. Segmon IF's Jaime Cordarell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Segmon IF from getting a goal against them. Jaime Cordarell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mattias Kleen's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Aaron Askberg kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the BumbleBee BoIS defense, Jerry Pihlwall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Sântimbrean. The BumbleBee BoIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Sântimbrean should have stopped the shot. Mattias Kleen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jaime Cordarell firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Petter Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BumbleBee BoIS's Călin Sântimbrean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Hellsing in the 26th minute of play. Jaime Cordarell made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Mattias Kleen sent off a good shot on target. Jaime Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Wästerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Jerry Pihlwall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Sântimbrean. BumbleBee BoIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerry Pihlwall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattias Kleen to strike the kick off in the second half. Mattias Kleen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jaime Cordarell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Kleen might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Cordarell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattias Kleen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonny Norström to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Kleen in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Kleen in the 71st minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Jaime Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Mattias Kleen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Kleen in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BumbleBee BoIS's zone, Herman Wennerlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Călin Sântimbrean came out of the goal and Herman Wennerlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BumbleBee BoIS made a substitution. Karl-Oskar Drake replaced Mattias Kleen. The audience was convinced that Karl-Oskar Drake's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Cordarell was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, BumbleBee BoIS's Karl-Oskar Drake nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Cordarell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Segmon IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
