In the 3rd minute Ljungbyholm were awarded a corner. Ivar Billock went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ivar Billock almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Årsta FF's Kurt Ryberg did a great save. If Bengt Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Tao Shi Fan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ljungbyholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Ivar Billock recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kurt Ryberg. Ivar Billock showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tao Shi Fan in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurt Ryberg saved Årsta FF from getting behind. Manfred Öberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Örnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes, Ivar Billock made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Årsta FF's Kurt Ryberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils-Emil Björklund during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Årsta FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Björklund to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes, Ljungbyholm's Ivar Billock shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kurt Ryberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Ivar Billock put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kurt Ryberg. 40 minutes into the game, Ivar Billock lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Kurt Ryberg. After a defensive mix-up in Årsta FF's zone, Ivar Billock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Ryberg came out of the goal and Ivar Billock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Tao Shi Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Ryberg was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tao Shi Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungbyholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Tao Shi Fan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Ryberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54thth minute of the game Ivar Billock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Årsta FF's Kurt Ryberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 minutes, Ivar Billock made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Årsta FF's Kurt Ryberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ljungbyholm's Waldir Andrade was substituted for Ivar Billock. Kurt Ryberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldir Andrade went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Waldir Andrade put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kurt Ryberg. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Tao Shi Fan sped through Årsta FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kurt Ryberg. Årsta FF's Kurt Ryberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Andrade in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Waldir Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Ryberg was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Kurt Ryberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Andrade's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Ljungbyholm were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Årsta FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariusz Prusinowski took the corner. When the referee ended the match the Ljungbyholm players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
