IFK Trelleborg's Torsten Thedin got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mattias Forsell came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the IFK Trelleborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Forsell couldn't finish the play. In the 16th match minute, FC Vincent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Kruuse to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Thedin scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Magnusson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Michel Olsman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Andreas Magnusson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Torsten Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Magnusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Olsman in the 28th minute. Torsten Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Andreas Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Magnusson made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Torsten Thedin sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Isaac Österberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Trelleborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Österberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Magnusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ted Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Gunnarsson went to the wrong direction when Jan Kruuse was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Olsman was the one to do the kick off. Ted Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Harald Mikaelsson came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the IFK Trelleborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Mikaelsson couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Michel Olsman put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Andreas Magnusson. IFK Trelleborg's Ted Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Högberg in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, IFK Trelleborg's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Högberg came free, but Ted Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Vincent's Gustaf Gustafsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ted Gunnarsson. That made the score 3-1 after 73 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, FC Vincent's Ted Gunnarsson threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gustaf Gustafsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mattias Forsell hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Isaac Österberg struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Andreas Magnusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Trelleborg. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Isaac Österberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Trelleborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Österberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 93 minutes of play, IFK Trelleborg's Torsten Thedin made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Magnusson was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that IFK Trelleborg were the better team. IFK Trelleborg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
