When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Nils Kjellberg sped through IF Eksjö Fotboll's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sture Wickander. 44 minutes into the match, IF Eksjö Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Kjellberg came free, but Sture Wickander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in IF Eksjö Fotboll's zone, Algot Höijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Wickander came out of the goal and Algot Höijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leif Lövskog's late challenge caught a Maks BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Lövskog helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, IF Eksjö Fotboll's Leif Lövskog got a free kick in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calle Josefsson to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, IF Eksjö Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Bjursell came free, but Sture Wickander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Wickander came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Maks BK's Nils Kjellberg. But to his dismay, Nils Kjellberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 62 minutes into the match, Calle Josefsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Malcolm Eliasson, 6-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Kjellberg in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sture Wickander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sture Wickander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Kjellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sture Wickander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Bjursell in the 74th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Nils Kjellberg put it in 7-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sture Wickander. Sture Wickander came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Maks BK's Nils Kjellberg. But to his dismay, Nils Kjellberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. In the 84th minute Nils Kjellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Wickander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Bjursell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sture Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Kjellberg in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
