Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bengt Söderberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Årsta FF booed when IFK Trelleborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Österberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the IFK Trelleborg defense, Leo Lundberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Gunnarsson. The IFK Trelleborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Årsta FF's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Thedin came free, but Kurt Ryberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Gunnarsson made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Paul Örnberg sent off a good shot on target. Michel Olsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Ryberg having to interfere. Michel Olsman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Torsten Thedin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Ryberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kurt Ryberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Bengt Söderberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Årsta FF and the IFK Trelleborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Årsta FF got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Söderberg. In the 33rd minute Paul Örnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, IFK Trelleborg's Michel Olsman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurt Ryberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bengt Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ted Gunnarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Årsta FF. When Mattias Forsell came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the IFK Trelleborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Forsell couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Olsman to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfred Asmundsson charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Torsten Thedin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Kurt Ryberg made a huge save. Kaj Örnberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. Torsten Thedin might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Ryberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torsten Thedin ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the IFK Trelleborg defense, Bengt Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Gunnarsson. The IFK Trelleborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. Arman Lundblad took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ted Gunnarsson. Ted Gunnarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 84 minutes, Paul Örnberg made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Trelleborg's Ted Gunnarsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leo Lundberg scored 6-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ted Gunnarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Trelleborg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simon Wahlström was slow to take the kick. During this time Årsta FF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Årsta FF's corner Simon Wahlström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ted Gunnarsson quite easily take care of the ball.
