After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Oskar Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Såtenäs's Hugo Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Josefsson in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to IF Eksjö Fotboll getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Peter Bergsten hit a great ball. Sven Rosendahl took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sture Wickander. IF Eksjö Fotboll's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hugo Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, IF Eksjö Fotboll's Leif Lövskog got a free kick in the 39th minute.

Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Sture Wickander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Såtenäs's Hugo Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Emander in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, IF Eksjö Fotboll's Sture Wickander got control of the ball when Oskar Samuelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The IF Eksjö Fotboll support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
