Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bengt Söderberg started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Årsta FF's goalkeeper Kurt Ryberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genarp's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Bengt Söderberg scored to the left of an out of position Kasper Westerstrand, making the score, 1-0. 12 minutes in the game, Bengt Söderberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kasper Westerstrand having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Bengt Söderberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Genarp's Kasper Westerstrand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paul Örnberg in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kasper Westerstrand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bengt Apelkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Bengt Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Westerstrand having to interfere. Paul Örnberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Kasper Westerstrand made a huge save. Oskar Utfal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Bengt Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kasper Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Bengt Söderberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Årsta FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvin Lang to strike the kick off in the second half. Bengt Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Kasper Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Örnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt Söderberg in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasper Westerstrand saved Genarp from getting behind. Bengt Apelkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Bäcklin during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Evert Bäcklin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt Söderberg in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasper Westerstrand saved Genarp from getting behind. In the 69thth minute of the game Bengt Söderberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Genarp's Kasper Westerstrand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tage Björkkvist fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Genarp's protests and gave Tage Björkkvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Årsta FF booed when Genarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Björkkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Genarp's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Örnberg came free, but Kasper Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Årsta FF fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Årsta FF's Bengt Söderberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bengt Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Westerstrand having to interfere. Bengt Apelkvist was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a defensive mix-up in Genarp's zone, Paul Örnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasper Westerstrand came out of the goal and Paul Örnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Årsta FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
