But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Söderquist couldn't finish the play. Sture Wickander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tao Shi Fan in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Ivar Billock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Wickander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Mikael Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Billock's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Sture Wickander - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 10th minute. After 15 minutes, Tao Shi Fan made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. IF Eksjö Fotboll's Sture Wickander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, IF Eksjö Fotboll's Leif Lövskog got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute, IF Eksjö Fotboll's Sven-Erik Månsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sven-Erik Månsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of IF Eksjö Fotboll protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sven-Erik Månsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 25th minute, one of IF Eksjö Fotboll:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for IF Eksjö Fotboll. The referee gave Nordic Union a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ivar Billock, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of IF Eksjö Fotboll's Sture Wickander. 0-3. In the 30th minute, Tao Shi Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sture Wickander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 36 minutes into the match, IF Eksjö Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Tao Shi Fan came free, but Sture Wickander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Ivar Billock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Sture Wickander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tao Shi Fan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sture Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The IF Eksjö Fotboll players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nordic Union were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tao Shi Fan was the one to do the kick off. Ivar Billocks short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Sture Wickander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sture Wickander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tao Shi Fan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 53 minute of play. 57 minutes in the game, Fredrik Söderquist fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sture Wickander having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Tao Shi Fan took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Sture Wickander to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tao Shi Fan in the 64th minute of play forced IF Eksjö Fotboll's goalkeeper Sture Wickander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Leif Lövskog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IF Eksjö Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nordic Union the free kick. The supporters of Nordic Union booed when IF Eksjö Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Lövskog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nordic Union's Waldir Andrade was substituted for Ivar Billock. Waldir Andrade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Sture Wickander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sture Wickander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldir Andrade went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Tao Shi Fan sped through IF Eksjö Fotboll's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sture Wickander. Sture Wickander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mikael Sandberg's late challenge caught a Nordic Union's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Sandberg helped the player get up and apologised. If Tao Shi Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Waldir Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Nordic Union fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldir Andrade couldn't finish the play. Waldir Andrade did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-12 to the left of a surprised Sture Wickander 92 minutes into the match. Fredrik Söderquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
