In the 12th minute Evert Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villiam Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Bergman in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Martinsson in the 17th minute of play forced Panab United FC's goalkeeper Villiam Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Panab United FC booed when Elliott Wave was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Elliott Wave's Malte Friberger got control of the ball when Maximilian Källberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villiam Håkansson came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Elliott Wave's Lars-Erik Busk. But to his dismay, Lars-Erik Busk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 30th minute, Lars-Erik Busk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Villiam Håkansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Villiam Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Busk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Håkansson having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Birger Alberg was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Lars-Erik Busk could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Villiam Håkansson however easily saved by the left post. Villiam Håkansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars-Erik Busk in the 55th minute. Måns Blanck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malte Friberger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Mattias Eliasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villiam Håkansson having to make a save. Villiam Håkansson came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Elliott Wave's Lars-Erik Busk. But to his dismay, Lars-Erik Busk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After 69 played minutes Elliott Wave got a freekick which was hit by Evert Martinsson. Birger Alberg took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malte Friberger. Malte Friberger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Gustav Telin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elliott Wave's zone, Måns Blanck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malte Friberger came out of the goal and Måns Blanck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villiam Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Elliott Wave's Lars-Erik Busk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Villiam Håkansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. When Panab United FC's Per-Erik Gummeson in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Johannes Bergman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-6. The audience was convinced that Per-Erik Gummeson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malte Friberger was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birger Alberg in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malte Friberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evert Martinsson in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Villiam Håkansson saved Panab United FC from getting behind. The Elliott Wave supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Elliott Wave would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
