In the 14th minute of the match, Kristoffer Hagberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexander Fogel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 18 minutes into the match, Skatteberg FF's goalkeeper Alexander Fogel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oskar Sjöberg. Bror Jonasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Erik Fransson's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, Robin Göransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ola Kruuse kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Brokket's Bertil Andreasson pulled a muscle in his back after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Viktor Söderman kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Gadd to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Ola Kruuse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skatteberg FF and the Brokket players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Skatteberg FF's zone, Rickard Bergström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Fogel came out of the goal and Rickard Bergström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute Rickard Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Fogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristoffer Hagberg charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristoffer Hagberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Brokket got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Hagberg. In the 69th minute Brian Gadd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bror Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Fransson in the 88th minute of play. If Brian Gadd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bror Jonasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Gadd in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Robin Karlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skatteberg FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Skatteberg FF's Brian Gadd got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Skatteberg FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brokket throughout the match.
