Spectators: 7561 (Terracing: 5672, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sverker Vallengren started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Semper Fidelis getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jan Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Hans Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Björk having to interfere. Valter Glanselius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hugo Törnqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svante Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Vallengren in the 12th minute of play. Svante Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Soned in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Sverker Vallengren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sverker Vallengren in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svante Björk saved Semper Fidelis from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Semper Fidelis fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Söderströms IF. Henry Soned stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Svante Björk. 0-1. Henry Soned scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Svante Björk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes, Thor Rydelius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Söderströms IF and the Semper Fidelis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thor Rydelius kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Svante Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Soned in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Söderströms IF's Jens Stor got a free kick in the 36th minute. Söderströms IF's Hugo Törnqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Söderströms IF from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Michael Brenner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Söderströms IF fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Söderströms IF's Henry Soned looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 57th minute, Henry Soned reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Svante Björk. The goal made the score 0-4. Sverker Vallengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Karl-Michael Brenner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Semper Fidelis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Michael Brenner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Söderströms IF's zone, Valter Glanselius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Törnqvist came out of the goal and Valter Glanselius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Karl-Michael Brenner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svante Björk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Svante Björk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Soned, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Torsten Bengtsson fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Söderströms IF's protests and gave Torsten Bengtsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Söderströms IF getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Torsten Bengtsson hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, David Blom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Semper Fidelis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Söderströms IF the free kick. David Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the match was over Söderströms IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Semper Fidelis throughout the match.
