Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Billvall in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Holmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20thth minute of the game Simon Billvall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Älvsjö IFK's Henrik Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Älvsjö IFK's Henrik Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Brandin in the 24th minute of play. Verner Brandin scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrik Holmgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th match minute, Älvsjö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Hernström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Kling in the 92nd minute of play forced Älvsjö IFK's goalkeeper Henrik Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andréas Wallander took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Holmgren. Henrik Holmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Västerås City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
