Rickard Linberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Glanselius in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Funtime FC's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Albom came free, but Rickard Linberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Michael Brenner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Semper Fidelis's Egon Albom pulled a muscle in his back after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Nilsson during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Semper Fidelis made a substitution. Benjamin Bolander replaced Egon Albom. In the 8th minute, Otto Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Funtime FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Brenner came free, but Rickard Linberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Michael Brenner took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rickard Linberg. Rickard Linberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Valter Glanselius kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Urban Olsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Svante Björk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 16 played minutes Semper Fidelis got a freekick which was hit by Peter Magnusson. Svante Björk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Vallman, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Hampus Vallman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Svante Björk, 1-1. Rickard Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Brenner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Bolander in the 29th minute of play forced Funtime FC's goalkeeper Rickard Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Benjamin Bolander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Benjamin Bolander fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Semper Fidelis's protests and gave Benjamin Bolander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Semper Fidelis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Bolander to maneuver through the defense. Svante Björk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hampus Vallman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. Semper Fidelis's Svante Björk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Semper Fidelis from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urban Olsson got free with Svante Björk in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valter Glanselius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Michael Brenner to make the kick off. Dan Andersson got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Stig-Ove Hökkvist. Rickard Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 54 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Brenner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickard Linberg. Funtime FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Michael Brenner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Olov Broman's late challenge caught a Semper Fidelis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olov Broman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Semper Fidelis booed when Funtime FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Broman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Semper Fidelis's David Blom tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Hampus Vallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Funtime FC's Rickard Linberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Bolander in the 72nd minute of play. Karl-Michael Brenner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Linberg having to interfere. A collision led to Funtime FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Stig Sundberg hit a great ball. Rickard Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Brenner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Semper Fidelis failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
