The crowd rose to their feet as Per-Erik Dalman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Orvar Odeen. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th match minute, BK Nollkoll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Isaksson to maneuver through the defense. Orvar Odeen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jon Hellsing. 19 minutes into the match, BK Nollkoll's goalkeeper Orvar Odeen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Aspengren. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magne Hernström got free with Orvar Odeen in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Älvsjö IFK's Jonas Aspengren got a free kick in the 26th minute. Elliott Skog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Henrik Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erik Siggman fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älvsjö IFK's protests and gave Erik Siggman a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Siggman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Mats Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Älvsjö IFK's Henrik Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Skog in the 36th minute of play. Henrik Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Bern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of BK Nollkoll booed when Älvsjö IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Aspengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th match minute, BK Nollkoll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Linqvist to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Erik Dalman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henrik Holmgren made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Elliott Skog sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Mats Bern got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mats Bern hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Älvsjö IFK's Henrik Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Bern in the 65th minute of play. In the 77th minute Per-Erik Dalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Odeen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orvar Odeen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Dalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Elliott Skog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Henrik Holmgren made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Elliott Skog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 92nd minute, Mats Bern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egil Linqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egil Linqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BK Nollkoll getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Egil Linqvist hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Jon Hellsing in the 96th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Orvar Odeen's left hand side.
