In the 23rd minute Albert Kinell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolf Hultin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Söderåkra IF's goalkeeper Alfons Persson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albert Kinell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rolf Hultin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerry Hammarbäck made a kick off. Ivar Lövgren made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Blom sent off a good shot on target. Albert Kinell scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfons Persson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolf Hultin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfons Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Kinell in the 70th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Kinell during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
