Spectators: 7428 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 100) Sörskogens IF's Inge Hafström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jörn Jernberg was a little too slow when Charles Abrahamsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Godis's goalkeeper Jörn Jernberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Inge Hafström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörn Jernberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Jörn Jernberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inge Hafström's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, David Berggren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jörn Jernberg, 2-0. Sörskogens IF's Anton Brovall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Vennerdal in the 26th minute of play. David Berggren kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jörn Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Hafström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Björn Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jörn Jernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörn Jernberg made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when David Berggren sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

60 minutes into the match, FC Godis's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Hafström came free, but Jörn Jernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Godis's zone, Inge Hafström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörn Jernberg came out of the goal and Inge Hafström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björn Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jörn Jernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Inge Hafström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörn Jernberg was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Jörn Jernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Bergfelt in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anton Brovall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 88 minutes into the game, Björn Kristiansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jörn Jernberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Godis's Jörn Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Berggren in the 95th minute of play. Henrik Kinell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
