Edwin Biörling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Palm in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, FC Hans's goalkeeper Ian Kock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Spets. In the 18th minute, Alf Spets ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Kock was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungby BK's zone, Jens-Ola Pihlblad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Biörling came out of the goal and Jens-Ola Pihlblad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alf Spets who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Ian Kock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ian Kock made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Alf Spets sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Spets got free with Ian Kock in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Ian Kock successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Uter in the 35th minute of play forced FC Hans's goalkeeper Ian Kock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Kristian Åhlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungby BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Åhlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Kock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ian Kock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Grönberg in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ljungby BK's Thor Berg got a free kick in the 64th minute. Sten Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ian Kock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Spets took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Kock. Ian Kock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. August Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, FC Hans's Sten Palm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Alf Spets struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ian Kock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungby BK.
