Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vilgot Larsson kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Grömsta BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilgot Larsson to maneuver through the defense. Per-Arne Nordkvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Beržas Biknius firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Örn in the 11th minute of play forced Grömsta BK's goalkeeper Beržas Biknius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Back came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Grömsta BK's Vilgot Larsson. But to his dismay, Vilgot Larsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hugo Back came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Grömsta BK's Eddie Jakobsson. But to his dismay, Eddie Jakobsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Beržas Biknius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Örn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calle Örn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Beržas Biknius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Vilgot Larsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Back. Saltö BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vilgot Larsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 43rd minute, Vilgot Larsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grömsta BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the game, Vilgot Larsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Back. Vilgot Larsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 61 minutes into the game, Saltö BK's Calle Örn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beržas Biknius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Örn in the 70th minute of play forced Grömsta BK's goalkeeper Beržas Biknius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Calle Örn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Grömsta BK's Eddie Jakobsson got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute Vilgot Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Back saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Back took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Grömsta BK's Pelle Helander got a free kick in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilgot Larsson in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Back prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per-Arne Nordkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Beržas Biknius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Almqvist hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Grömsta BK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Saltö BK side.
