The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karol Gendolla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Gendolla saved trosscross from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Per-Arne Nordkvist put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Karol Gendolla. Victor Lang kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. trosscross's Olov Sigman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hugo Back but with some difficulty. Saltö BK's Hugo Back played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Sigman in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 16th minute of play forced trosscross's goalkeeper Karol Gendolla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Olov Sigman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Back. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. The supporters of trosscross booed when Saltö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Brandin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Saltö BK's goalkeeper Hugo Back had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigvard Persson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karol Gendolla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karol Gendolla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Johansson in the 28th minute of play. Hugo Back took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Sigman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Per-Arne Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Bergstedt hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Per-Arne Nordkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karol Gendolla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Arne Nordkvist in the 43rd minute of the match. Karol Gendolla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Nordkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaj Melander couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Saltö BK got a freekick which was hit by Ola Bäck. After some careless play in the Saltö BK defense, Ivan Söderqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Back. The Saltö BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Back should have stopped the shot. Hugo Back showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Söderqvist in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Saltö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Melander came free, but Hugo Back reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Saltö BK booed when trosscross was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Sigman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Sigvard Persson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. trosscross's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saltö BK the free kick. The supporters of Saltö BK booed when trosscross was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Per-Arne Nordkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karol Gendolla. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 81st minute, Victor Lang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Arne Nordkvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 84th playminute. Karol Gendolla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Örn in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Per-Arne Nordkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saltö BK played a much better game than trosscross and deserved their victory. The trosscross players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
