Stråssa FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Fribäck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. FC Bäver's Bengt Browald got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Fribäck in the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Leo Lundgren rounded FC Bäver's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. 16 minutes into the match, Bengt Browald notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Stråssa FK's Mark Pihlgren. Mark Pihlgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tor Klack fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bäver's protests and gave Tor Klack a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, FC Bäver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor Klack to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Fribäck in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Pihlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC Bäver fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when FC Bäver's Daniel Fribäck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Fribäck in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Pihlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute Bengt Browald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Pihlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Wikander hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes, Robin Ugla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stråssa FK and the FC Bäver players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Stråssa FK got a freekick which was hit by Robin Ugla. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Fribäck in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Pihlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Bäver's Melker Dalkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Hökkvist in the 45th minute of play. Melker Dalkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Fribäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Pihlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Daniel Fribäck took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Mark Pihlgren to make any attempt to save it. Mark Pihlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A hard shot 75 in the game by Daniel Fribäck from a close distance when the talented Mark Pihlgren managed to make a qualified save. Stråssa FK's players were relieved. Stråssa FK's Mark Pihlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Stråssa FK from getting a goal against them. Mark Pihlgren didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Bäver's Daniel Fribäck shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-9 in the ordered_time% minute. Josef Hökkvist's late challenge caught a FC Bäver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A hard shot by Torbjörn Wallengren from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Mark Pihlgren's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
