Borgafjället's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Åke Wallman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claes Alrot hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Junselevallen IF's Håkan Skager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Wallman in the 44th minute of play.
