If Börge Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Josef Hökkvist fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stråssa FK's protests and gave Josef Hökkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Evert Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stråssa FK's Mark Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Blom in the 17th minute of play. Blue Mountain Goats's Karl-Åke Lundblad got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Evert Holm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Pihlgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Stråssa FK's goalkeeper Mark Pihlgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Holm. After 42 minutes, Evert Holm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blue Mountain Goats and the Stråssa FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evert Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Börge Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Mark Pihlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue Mountain Goats.

After some careless play in the Stråssa FK defense, Börge Karlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Pihlgren. The Stråssa FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Pihlgren should have stopped the shot. Bo Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Hökkvist in the 57th minute of play. Evert Holm scored 8-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Pihlgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute Leo Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Rosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Blue Mountain Goats got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Andersson. After a rather tough play, Stråssa FK's Peter Simonsson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Mark Pihlgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert Holm went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Per-Åke Hedman's late challenge caught a Blue Mountain Goats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Åke Hedman helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Stråssa FK got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Hedman. Mark Pihlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Holm in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Blue Mountain Goats getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Börge Karlsson hit a great ball. With a little luck, Blue Mountain Goats's Bo Rosen got control of the ball when Bertil Kock tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Blue Mountain Goats's Evert Holm in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stråssa FK's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Stråssa FK's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Andersson came free, but Mark Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Holm in the 91st minute of play forced Stråssa FK's goalkeeper Mark Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Erik Billström charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Erik Billström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils-Erik Billström kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Evert Holm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Mark Pihlgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blue Mountain Goats's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
