Anthon Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without King John having to interfere. Jonas Knutsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Lundgren in the 8th minute of the match. Jonas Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Matte in the 11th minute of play. Edgar Hedberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without King John having to interfere. The supporters of Syrianska Falcons booed when Rydsnäs IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Forsell didn't get a good kick on the ball. King John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthon Hellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Lukas Albom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sebastian Klementsson came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Rydsnäs IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Klementsson couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the game, Ove Hellbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Syrianska Falcons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rydsnäs IF the free kick. In the 32nd minute of the match Sivert Jonsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but King John skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell-Arne Lundgren in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Knutsson saved Syrianska Falcons from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Ove Hellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Kjell-Arne Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rydsnäs IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell-Arne Lundgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Knutsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Syrianska Falcons's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Lundgren came free, but Jonas Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Syrianska Falcons defense, Kjell-Arne Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Knutsson. The Syrianska Falcons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Knutsson should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell-Arne Lundgren was the one to do the kick off. King John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Hellkvist in the 53rd minute of the match. If Anthon Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Kjell-Arne Lundgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 minutes, Kjell-Arne Lundgren made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Syrianska Falcons's Jonas Knutsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Syrianska Falcons's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kjell-Arne Lundgren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th match minute, Syrianska Falcons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Albom to maneuver through the defense. Lukas Albom charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukas Albom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Syrianska Falcons got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Albom. In the 70th minute, Sebastian Klementsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Syrianska Falcons's Jonas Knutsson didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Hedberg during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgar Hedberg hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jonas Knutsson came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Rydsnäs IF's Kjell-Arne Lundgren. But to his dismay, Kjell-Arne Lundgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Jonas Knutsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kjell-Arne Lundgren in the 86th minute. The audience was convinced that Kjell-Arne Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Knutsson was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Kjell-Arne Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Kjell-Arne Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Knutsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Rydsnäs IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
