Valter Björnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Inge Blomkvist made a huge save. Sivert Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Åström having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Sivert Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Markus Åström came out of the goal and Sivert Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sivert Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turkiye's supporters rose to their feet, but Sivert Svensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Åström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Sivert Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Markus Åström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 73 minutes, Josef Björk mouthed his way into the referee's book.
