Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Olov Kruuse got the match started through his kick off. If Benny Wendt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Snokajävla BK booed when Åsbro FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Bruse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Jörgen Augustsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Lindell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åsbro FK's Robert Lindell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Nordqvist in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Benno Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Lindell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Bo Larsson in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Åsbro FK's Eric Hansson. With his leg Ronnie Hellström managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Åsbro FK's Olov Kruuse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 39th minute Benny Wendt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Lindell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greger Linqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greger Linqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Åsbro FK got a freekick which was hit by Greger Linqvist. Robert Lindell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Wendt, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benny Wendt to make the kick off. Jörgen Augustsson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Robert Lindell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snokajävla BK. Benny Wendt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Lindell having to interfere. Benno Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Robert Lindell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 68 minutes on the clock, Ivar Ekrot commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 67th minute, one of Åsbro FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Åsbro FK. Benny Wendt placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Åsbro FK's Magnus Kellberg got a free kick in the 71st minute. Benny Wendt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Lindell having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Conny Torstensson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 87 minutes into the match, Snokajävla BK's Benny Wendt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Lindell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Håkan Sundberg's late challenge caught a Snokajävla BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkan Sundberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Åsbro FK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Håkan Sundberg hit a great ball. Benny Wendt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Lindell came out and tried to block the shot, but Benny Wendt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 91st minute. Benny Wendt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Lindell having to interfere. Benno Magnusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
