To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 11th minute, where Snokajävla BK:s Benny Wendt tricked Turkiye:s Inge Blomkvist with a difficult ball by the left post. Inge Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Wendt in the 17th minute of play. Ronnie Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Sandström in the 18th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Snokajävla BK got a freekick which was hit by Benno Magnusson. Inge Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Wendt in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Turkiye's Inge Blomkvist got control of the ball when Benny Wendt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Benny Wendt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snokajävla BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Benny Wendt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Blomkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Snokajävla BK booed when Turkiye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Brandin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Snokajävla BK got a freekick which was hit by Benno Magnusson. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Benny Wendt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Inge Blomkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conny Torstensson charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conny Torstensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Svensson in the 62nd minute of play forced Snokajävla BK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Benny Wendt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bo Larsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inge Blomkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
