Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edvin Åberg started the match with the kick off. When Äspered's Sixten Hääger in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vendelsömalms FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute, Kenny Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Vendelsömalms FC's Elliott Hjortberg got control of the ball when Karl-Åke Holmgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Äspered was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Åberg in the 15th minute of play forced Äspered's goalkeeper Gabriel Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Örnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Elliott Hjortberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Holmgren in the 29th minute of play forced Vendelsömalms FC's goalkeeper Elliott Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Edvin Åberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Beckström was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Vendelsömalms FC's goalkeeper Elliott Hjortberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Åke Holmgren. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvin Åberg in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Beckström saved Äspered from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Sixten Hääger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Äspered's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vendelsömalms FC the free kick. Sixten Hääger kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Sixten Hääger might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elliott Hjortberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixten Hääger ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Äspered's Dennis Mikaelsson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the Äspered defense, Edvin Åberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Beckström. The Äspered fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Beckström should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sixten Hääger made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Vendelsömalms FC's David Dalström got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Hääger in the 55th minute of play forced Vendelsömalms FC's goalkeeper Elliott Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Kenny Nordgren lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Gabriel Beckström. 60 minutes into the match, Vendelsömalms FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Holmgren came free, but Elliott Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Edvin Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Beckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Gabriel Beckström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gabriel Beckström made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Kenny Nordgren sent off a good shot on target. Fredric Ljungberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Elliott Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Åberg in the 70th minute of play forced Äspered's goalkeeper Gabriel Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliott Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Hääger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konrad Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Åke Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Elliott Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vendelsömalms FC's David Dalström got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Paul Wahlnäs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elliott Hjortberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elliott Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Hääger in the 83rd minute of play. Fredric Ljungberg hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Edvin Åberg had several of the Äspered's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Gabriel Beckström as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edvin Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Beckström having to interfere. Lars Allbom hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
