Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alejo Marino started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute of the match Patani FC got a corner. Skåpafors IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ryszard Piesciuk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Håkan Tinglöv took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darian Claringbold. Darian Claringbold dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Per-Oskar Haeger put in a rough tackle. Samuel Wallin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darian Claringbold having to make a save. Alejo Marino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Skåpafors IF defense, Sven Bäck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Erik Strömqvist. The Skåpafors IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Erik Strömqvist should have stopped the shot. When Osvald Gunnarsson fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patani FC's protests and gave Osvald Gunnarsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Osvald Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Michel Bolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darian Claringbold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jan-Erik Strömqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Patani FC's Alejo Marino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 33 minutes into the match, Patani FC's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Tinglöv came free, but Darian Claringbold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darian Claringbold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Benet in the 35th minute of the match. When Håkan Tinglöv fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skåpafors IF's protests and gave Håkan Tinglöv a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Skåpafors IF's Håkan Tinglöv got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Alejo Marino notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Skåpafors IF's Jan-Erik Strömqvist. Jan-Erik Strömqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 49th match minute, Skåpafors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Håkan Tinglöv made a kick off. After some careless play in the Skåpafors IF defense, André Collin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Erik Strömqvist. The Skåpafors IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Erik Strömqvist should have stopped the shot. Darian Claringbold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Bergqvist in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Skåpafors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Marino came free, but Jan-Erik Strömqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Erik Strömqvist came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Patani FC's Alejo Marino. But to his dismay, Alejo Marino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After a rather tough play, Patani FC's André Collin got a free kick in the 65th minute. Edward Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Darian Claringbold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Strömqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Marino's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Jan-Erik Strömqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Sven Bäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Strömqvist having to interfere. Jan-Erik Strömqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Marino in the 78th minute of the match. Ulrik Bergqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Alejo Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jan-Erik Strömqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Marino in the 88th minute of play forced Skåpafors IF's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Strömqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Bolin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Marino in the 97th minute of play forced Skåpafors IF's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Strömqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98thth minute of the game André Collin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skåpafors IF's Jan-Erik Strömqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Patani FC were the better team. Patani FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
