The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Billy Arenberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Trelleborg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Arenberg in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicklas Kinell saved Estrada Allstars F.C. from getting behind. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Billy Arenberg sped through Estrada Allstars F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicklas Kinell. In the 12th minute, Fredric Pålsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicklas Kinell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Biörling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Oskar Vikström hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Sven Ahlström made a precise shot to the right of Nicklas Kinell. Estrada Allstars F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 22 minutes of play, IFK Trelleborg's Gunnar Biörling made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicklas Kinell was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute of the match William Kjellbom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicklas Kinell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicklas Kinell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Ahlström in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Estrada Allstars F.C. defense, Sven Ahlström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicklas Kinell. The Estrada Allstars F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicklas Kinell should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Billy Arenberg in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicklas Kinell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, IFK Trelleborg's goalkeeper Ascencio Cueli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Palmquist. Gunnar Biörling scored 0-6 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicklas Kinell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Lindström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Estrada Allstars F.C.'s Nicklas Kinell got control of the ball when Billy Arenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lindström in the 62nd minute of play forced IFK Trelleborg's goalkeeper Ascencio Cueli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Nicklas Kinell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 65th minute, Gunnar Biörling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicklas Kinell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrada Allstars F.C.'s goalkeeper Nicklas Kinell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Billy Arenberg came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the IFK Trelleborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Arenberg couldn't finish the play. Nicklas Kinell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Ahlström's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Estrada Allstars F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven Ahlström came free, but Nicklas Kinell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute IFK Trelleborg were awarded a corner. Billy Arenberg went to the cornerflag to take it. IFK Trelleborg's Billy Arenberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicklas Kinell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 85th minute Sven Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicklas Kinell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes, Billy Arenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Trelleborg and the Estrada Allstars F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes IFK Trelleborg got a freekick which was hit by Billy Arenberg. Nicklas Kinell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Ahlström in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Estrada Allstars F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Biörling came free, but Nicklas Kinell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over IFK Trelleborg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Estrada Allstars F.C. throughout the match.
