Adelsö BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skåpafors IF the free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Tinglöv couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Skåpafors IF's Rune Kullander got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Skåpafors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Rudqvist came free, but Jan-Erik Strömqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Adelsö BF booed when Skåpafors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per Kjellberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Lennart Ekman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Tinglöv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Per Kjellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Strömqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Erik Strömqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Algot Kalfhage hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Edward Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skåpafors IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Adelsö BF.
