Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per Kjellberg started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Sven Bäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Ekman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Patani FC's Per-Oskar Haeger got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute, Sven Bäck made a precise shot to the right of Lennart Ekman. Adelsö BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lennart Ekman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Bäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Darian Claringbold was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Per Kjellberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Patani FC's Sven Bäck made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennart Ekman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Patani FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Marino to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Marino got free with Lennart Ekman in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
