Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Billy Stenqvist kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Wiklund in the 8th minute of play forced IF Hisingen's goalkeeper Manfred Sandström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IF Hisingen's Manfred Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Mårtensson in the 10th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Syrianska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Mårtensson to maneuver through the defense. When Gustaf Wiklund came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Syrianska FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaf Wiklund couldn't finish the play. Gustaf Wiklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Manfred Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billy Stenqvist scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anders Soned, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niklas Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Anders Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Syrianska FC booed when IF Hisingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Stenqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaf Wiklund to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gustaf Wiklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Syrianska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaf Wiklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Sandström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, IF Hisingen's Jonas Holm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anders Soned narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Billy Stenqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Syrianska FC's Anders Soned was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. IF Hisingen's Niklas Isaksson pulled a muscle in his back after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Syrianska FC's Kåre Stensson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rune Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. IF Hisingen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
